To develop and implement marketing plans, and programs for product selection, promotions, positioning including new launches and monthly promotion for achieving successful campaigns and exceeding product target


  1. Support marketing program & calendar development
  • Help develop marketing strategy and program for each category

  • Help Execute marketing calendar and monthly program

  • Develop product concepts based on local customers’ needs

  • Order advertising materials

  • Develop Korean copy for advertisements

  1. Product/Sample planning and inventory/price management

- Oversee forecasts to ensure planning accuracy and appropriate inventory levels

  • Regularly check excess inventory status and recommends and implement plans to reduce excess inventory levels

  • Communicate flawlessly with FIM team in order to prevent out of stock situation

  • Submit new product forecast within due after discussion with Marketing & Consumer Engagement Manager

  • Develop sampling strategy for each product franchise and order samples according to the strategy

  • Guide product marketing executive to manage sample forecast and stock

Set up price strategy in line with New York guideline

  • Prepare all analyses for pricing, cost of goods, price increase or line editing projects.

  • Prepare cost/retail objectives capturing comparable Brand and competitive pricing.

  1. Analyze sales results and manage relevant reports

- Analyze marketing activities of competitors and retailers

  • Prepare New York/Region requested reports

  • Maintain competitive library and protect the main source of the documents

  • Prepare market trend updates

  • Prepare brand category performance analysis and responsible for brand segment

category reviews as needed

  • Conduct post launch evaluation analysis of major programs

  • Share weekly reports on sales results of the monthly focus products

  1. Communicate with other department
  • Maintain close contact with Training, Public Relations, and Consumer Relations on current and upcoming programs to assure proper focus and accurate information

  • Partner with sales & education team to optimize product distribution and ensure proper education for retail team staff & professional partners to drive growth

  • QA follow-up with counters

  • Monitors expenses to ensure that they stay within budget

  1. Cooperate with regional office
  • Give feedbacks on regionally developed programs to regional counter parts and report benchmark analysis of competitors

  • Participate a regular status call to share marketing programs for the following months



  • 3 years’ experience of product and brand marketing career

Functional Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills; Sales, Market share, SOV, etc.

  • Knowledge about advertising and various channels to communicate to consumers.

  • Insight and knowledge about consumer behaviors for cosmetics, cosmetics market trend and retailers

  • Strategic product planning skill & strategic thinking way
