Able to work independently and identify opportunities to business partner the brands to achieve higher financial performance for the Affiliate.
A. Ensure Customer Growth
Responsible for on-going review of monthly Net/retail Sales and Profit & Loss performance.
Highlight over or under spending areas for prompt follow up by Brand Managers.
Track actual performance against budget/forecast.
Play an innovative and active role in providing financial advice and assistance to brands on their business issues.
Ability to communicate financial perspective on business issues to brands in their language.
Identify the business financial needs and design information system to provide relevant business information on a timely basis.
Constantly improving the presentation of management information to the business.
Good knowledge of the business environment and able to provide an independent evaluation of brands financial forecast, and assessment of financial risk or opportunities.
Perform competitor watch and market trending so as to highlight risk and opportunities in Store ranking and market share.
B. Manages Operational Effectiveness
Discuss and review monthly Profit & Loss estimates and sales commentaries with Brand Managers and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Prepare presentations for internal Management and external parties.
Manage Corporate and Regional performance Reporting.
Work with brands to develop their monthly sales estimates.
Manage Annual budget process and long range plan.
Manage monthly Estimate process. Assist brands in achieving projected Sales and controlling Expenditure
Help brands determine and action appropriate Pricing strategies
Prepares monthly and quarterly reports.
C. Improves Business Processes
Work with brands to produce and evaluate :
Profit & Loss for product launches/special events
Profit & Loss for new door/account
Profit & Loss for existing doors/accounts
Review and enhance business and financial processes.
Constantly seeking to value-add to current process, information system, and business growth
Degree holder in Accountancy, preferably a certified professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, etc)
6 years of relevant experience with background in accounting. Previous financial analysis experience in an MNC
Hands-on experience in SAP and Hyperion would be an advantage
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and perform under pressure
Possess strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
A true Business Partner to critically evaluate commercial decision and think beyond the box.
