Clinique Counter Manager Opportunities - Central Auckland

At the Estée Lauder Companies, we believe our talented and driven Counter Managers are what make our Brands great to work for. We have a commitment to bringing the best to everyone we touch – this includes our customers as well as our talented teams.

We currently have the following opportunities:

  • David Jones Newmarket - Approx. 35 hours per week (rotating roster)

  • Farmers Queen Street - 37.5 hours per week (Tues – Sat). May include late nights

About our Counter and Retail Managers:

Our Counter and Retail Managers are key to the success of our Brands. Through careful business planning, they:

  • Continually look for ways to grow their business through activities that attract new customers and build loyalty

  • Work closely with their Sales & Education Executives and Retailers to identify opportunities to ensure their counters are constantly achieving

  • Coach their teams on providing expert advice and outstanding personalised service that educates our customers on our products.

Our Counter and Retail Managers are inspirational leaders who drive a high-touch experience to our consumers.

What experience we look for in our Counter and Retail Managers:

  • Previous experience developing a business plan to recruit and maintain customers and drive business results.

  • Leading and coaching team members in customer service to provide outstanding personalised service

  • Counter management/assistant management experience or experience working in a customer service environment at a supervisory level, preferably in beauty or fashion

  • Experience or exposure to creating and executing in-store events

  • Proficient in Microsoft office and comfortable using Social Media as a business tool

  • Skincare, beauty therapy or makeup artistry experience would be highly advantageous

  • You will need to be available to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events.
