Construction documentation, detailing and design of Clinique environments at point of sale. Store Design guidelines adaptation.


  • Provide design solutions, technical drawings and specifications for Clinique’s installations in Asia Pacific region.

  • Facilitate the construction process with shop fitters and engineers. Review shop drawings.

  • Review shop fitters shop drawings and progress developments.

  • Educate new and existing shop fitters, update them on new techniques, details and directions for Clinique store design.

  • Develop “Punch List” (list of deficiencies) for each installation to ensure compliance with global standards and resolve sub-standard construction in order to maintain a high level of quality.

  • File and keep clear, understandable records of all stores for future reference.

  • Develop 3D renderings relative to Clinique new concept store openings (all retail formats) as a mandatory support for Global Design, affiliates and retailers. Provide sustainable plans and recommendations to IT and design team in term of hardware and software. Take an active role in developing design for new channels on brand equity.


  • College/University graduate in Architecture and/or Interior Design preferred or creative with formal training in architecture and/or interior design & detailing.

  • Experienced on CAD/CAM software (preferably Macintosh VectorWorks). Able to design & detail scaled working construction drawings. Adaptable to new computer technology.

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in construction documentation (Architectural & Detailing).

  • Shows good understanding of :

  • material, colour, light, texture, and finish.

  • retail environment design requirements including traffic flow, human scale, and branding.

  • interior construction detailing.

  • Demonstrates good time management skills.

  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels both verbally and through drawings.

  • Experienced in graphics, layouts and interior signage.

  • Works well with other designers and merchandisers.

  • Presents him/herself in a professional manner; has an understanding of appropriate image and conduct.

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
