PRIMARY FUNCTION

The position will play a key role in providing strong HR Strategic Advisory and Operational support to the Retail Business Group. The incumbent will also leverage on-site and regional Centers of Excellence or related HR assets to deliver the relevant advice or support.

In addition, the position will be the HR Operations and Data Lead for the Travel Retail APAC, ensuring all employee data is properly maintained, manage access for various companywide systems and providing data analytics support to the HR Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. HR BUSINESS PARTNERING
  • To partner with SEA Retail Business (60 direct 120 indirect HC) and align their business objectives with and their Talent whilst balancing TR Worldwide HR direction.

  • Consults with the Line Management of the various units, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

  • Maintain necessary knowledge on HR Operations and Legal requirements to the day-to-day management of employees, foreseeing and minimizing legal risk and ensuring compliance.

  • Propose and execute innovative HR solutions to solve Business challenges and support Business growth.

  • Work with HR Manager on change management initiatives relating to restructure, realignment, policies changes etc.

  • Support business leaders in all employee relations matters.

  • Support employee engagement initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.

  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees.

  • Work with ESR Team to ensure Hire-to-Retire processes are done properly

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and our external recruitment partners to fulfill talent hires.

  1. HR OPERATIONS AND PAYROLL
  • Submit New Hire, Resignee, Confidential Payroll and Temp Staff Payroll instructions to Payroll Vendor every month.

  • Support the Onboarding Process to administer Medical Cards, enrollment of Flexi-Benefits, issuance of Free Cosmetics Benefits.

  • Maintain online P-file records to ensure compliance and easy retrieval

  • Work closely with HR Business Partner and Regional Employee Services Hub to participate in projects and contribute to ensuring smooth administration of Hire-to-Retire core processes.

  1. HR DATA MANAGEMENT
  • Data Custodian of TR APAC Employee data to ensure accuracy and compliance so that other Company systems receive accurate data.

  • Responsible for master data entry and troubleshooting data issues.

  • Instruct and Coordinate Employee Services or other HR Teams to update data.

  • Maintain monthly Organizational Charts and HR Analytics Report for HR Director and HR Manager

  • Prepare HR Analytics report and Dashboard as per request.

  1. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Work closely with Human Resources Manager and business leaders to ensure the annual merit review and performance management exercise are properly executed and completed on time for Business Units under your care.

  • Regularly update and provide intelligence on trends in benefits and compensation based on knowledge in external market.

  • Participate in ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management

  • 3 -5 years’ relevant working experience in HR for FMCG, Retail or related industries

  • Preferably 2 – 3 years’ in a Junior HR BP function or HR Operations function.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in most Microsoft applications including Visio

  • Working knowledge in HRIS such as Prosoft and Oracle HR

  • Strong communication skills

  • Comfortable with handling huge data sets and data analytics

  • Experience in regional office coordination

  • Positive change attitude
