Executes strategic priorities across the region
Strategize with business leaders to develop further new Learning & Talent Development solutions for all Brands & functions in the region.
Works collaboratively on global projects and be a voice for the region; ensuring market relevance and sensitivity towards cultural differences
Head regional initiatives related to Learning & Talent Development and be a strong partner to senior leaders to ensure alignment for implementation.
Hands-on management and implementation of learning programs and talent initiatives at all levels of the business by partnering with Brands and functions in all local markets across APAC.
Partner with stakeholders and the APAC leadership team to strategically identify specific talent development needs of the region, including supporting talent discussions, implementing high potential development programs and managing succession planning.
Undertake a Facilitator’s role to educate and ensure consistency and relevance of in-house initiatives such as career pathways, functional competencies, performance appraisal, etc, at a local market level.
Build and lead APAC Trainers' Circle capabilities.
Actively support global and regional Human Resources Business Partners to ensure successful execution of wider HR initiatives.
Relevant university degree or equivalent
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience in HR Business Partnering, Learning and Development or Talent Development, within a matrix-organized multinational company.
Prior experience in FMCG or luxury industry would be an added advantage.
Good in presentation skills and confident to present to a senior audience (Regional General Manager level and above) in English language.
Familiar with various learning methodologies, adult education and the latest developments in talent management.
Proven track of success in rolling out talent development initiatives, including high potential programs, entry-level management trainees etc.
Prior exposure to the dynamic cultural diversities of Asia Pacific in a professional environment.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and is confident in conversing with all levels of staffs including students.
Ability to successfully manage project teams remotely.
Displays strong influencing skills with the ability to excite and enthuse stakeholders.
Fast-paced, exceptionally creative, bold and enthusiastic.
Mandarin or other Asian language capability would be an advantage.
