Regional Assistant Manager, Compensation, Benefits & Mobility, APAC

Position Summary

A vital role to support Total Rewards programs and initiatives across APAC countries and to drive the best in-class Total Rewards processes and capabilities that compliments the organization's attraction and retention strategies.

  • Review, plan and enhance the consortium Total Rewards framework for the Asia Pacific region. Assist to develop and implement of compensation and benefits policies, guidelines and systems. Support and roll-out global & regional Total Rewards initiatives

  • Review and evaluate Global Grading for new and existing roles in line with the Global Grading design and guidelines

  • Support the review of salary structure and benefits structure across the various countries

  • Support and manage the full annual salary review and bonus/equity cycles

  • Act as the operational contact with compensation, HRIS and mobility functions to ensure

  • Long term incentive programs, corporate bonus program and other services and processes within global C&B/HRIS are delivered efficiently and effectively and aligned to the Policy

  • Collaborate with local HR contacts to review existing programs and to deliver optimal total rewards programs that are cost effective and aligned with demographics, market practices and talent strategies

  • Support and manage all Compensation, Benefits & Mobility related surveys.

  • Conduct market trend analysis for compensation, identify areas for improvement to meet best practices and business environment

  • Review compensation proposals

  • Ensure all Rewards programs, policies and practices are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

  • Manage day to day contacts with Compensation, Benefits & Mobility external service providers

  • Provide advice on compensation and benefits / mobility issues to local C&B team

  • Facilitate contact with related support services

  • Responsible for data quality and data integrity for Compensation, Benefits and Global Mobility processes

  • Support projects related to compensation and benefits programs and systems both regionally and globally

  • Coach local HRBPs and C&B leads with regards to Rewards and mobility programs

  • Support any other ad hoc Total Rewards related matters assigned or as and when required


Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Degree graduate in Human Resources, Compensation & Benefits, or its equivalent

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits

  • Preferably experience in regional Compensation & Benefits matter

  • A highly analytical mind with superb attention to details and excellent statistical skills

  • Pro-active hands-on with a creative mind to want to do things differently when required

  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and a fast pace environment
