Regional Supply Planning Manager

Regional Supply Manager is an individual contributor role. The role will be responsible for the following:

  • Operate as the primary party responsible for product availability and fill rate to Affiliate DC; responsible for Regional inventory level

  • Collaborate with Operational Demand Planner and Affiliate Execution Planners to prioritize, allocate and re-balance inventory and supply commits across affiliates within region.

  • Work with Regional Demand Planner to resolve gaps between demand plan and supply commit.

Work with Regional Commercial teams to align on the commercial opportunities considering the supply commits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate supply demand gap review within the regional brands and resolve them in the affiliate IBP meetings

  • Translate supply commits for the affiliate to brands and facilitate supply commits prioritization and re-balancing across affiliates and channels to support affiliate sales/commercial targets

  • Communicate affiliate level priorities to Commercial Region Supply Planning Head to re-shape supply commits for the affiliate

  • Coordinate exception resolution with Global Deployment Planner & Inventory Optimizers (Execution Horizon) and MPS (Operational Horizon) .

  • Provide input to Global MPS planner on target, safety stocks and other region specific planning parameters

  • Works with affiliate Execution Planners on short term supply exceptions, customer service issues, e.g. Stock outs and Demand attainment.

  • Works with affiliate execution planners on affiliate DC inventory levels.

  • Review inventory liability analysis, EXOB and initiate inventory disposition with Affiliate Sales and Inventory Deployer

  • Spends approximately 10% of time on developing and materializing company’s business strategy

  • Responsible for management and oversight of relevant region fill rate



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Operations Research or related field

  • Minimum 12 years of related experience in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in distribution, warehousing, inventory management and supply planning in the beauty / cosmetic industry, with 5 years of managerial experience

  • Knowledge of, and experience with supply planning and inventory management tools (e.g., SAP, E2Open, Kinaxis, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to balance between and prioritize multiple tasks and stakeholders across the globe

  • Knowledge of, and experience with demand planning, supply planning and inventory management techniques, processes and policies

  • Experience in the cosmetics, personal care industries preferred


  • Knowledge of the interactions and interplays between supply and demand in the executional (0-2 months) and operational (2-12 month) horizons, with focus on inventory management and supply planning

  • Highly analytical – analyzes data and provides clear / fact-based presentations to stakeholders

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, able to successfully manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously

  • Ability to build strong relationships and tactfully navigate multiple cross-functional, matrixed stakeholders

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and quick to react and respond to changes

  • Execution oriented – thrive under pressure with a demonstrated ability to get things done

  • Ability to work within and across a global, cross-functional team, collaborating with Planning, Supply Chain, and Commercial stakeholders

  • Strong oral and written communications – able to comfortably present to senior leadership as well as factory workers
