As the Travel Retail (TR) grows at an accelerated pace, the TR Supply Chain needs increases at a rapid speeds. The Supply Chain Lead (for Non Saleables) will be managing the Non saleable supply chain for the TR APAC Region.

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing the transfer and the build-up of the new 3PL organization for Travel Retail in APAC

  • Managing the performance and the relation of the 3PL

  • Being the key interface between the TR APAC commercial teams and the 3PL

  • Managing the transfer of existing local warehouses into the new 3PL solution

  • Collaborating closely with the supply chain team in Lachen to ensure a smooth supply flow from the mother DC in Switzerland to Singapore

  • Developing the ordering web portal to the needs of the target audience with Bollore

  • Training the commercial teams on the established web portal to order non saleable goods

  • Developing additional service offering of the 3PL (eg. Kitting) to meet the needs of the region

  • Managing the inventory and initiates and coordinates clean-up exercises and avoid excess and slow movers.

  • Solving proactively and autonomous any freight issues and escalates them when appropriate

  • Ensuring follow up and proper filing of any transportation claims and support the implementation of corrective measurements to reduce further incidents

  • Contributing to keep a professional transportation set-up and strives in excellence in the service execution

  • Supporting the freight cost controlling of the transportation’s budget throughout close collaboration with Finance and Transportation leading team.

  • Manages the inventory in collaboration with the TR APAC Brands

  • Initiates inventory clean-up exercises - Continuous process improvement

  • Supports data gathering and route analysis for assessments in transport optimization


The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Degree from a relevant field

  • Minimal of 5 years of experience 20% traveling

  • Strong decision making skills

  • Good stakeholder management skills

  • Good command of English as the corporate language (spoken and written)

  • Project Management skills - Logistics & Customer Service background

  • Experience in managing a 3PL logistics integrator

  • Process design and optimizations skills

  • Understanding of the regulatory-requirements, importation-/exportation-processes and regulation of the different transportation modes within the APAC region

  • Knowledgeable in administration of transports & operation through best-in-class ERP IT Systems (SAP SD/MM), WMS, Microsoft Office tools

  • Familiar to work in a complex process-environment and its application/ replication into an IT environment.

  • Able to travel around 20% of the time
