Description

This role is responsible for managing the Japan Third Party Manufacturing planning team, accountable for smooth execution of new product launches as well as global procurement planning in support of achieving supply chain deliverables.

In collaboration with other department managers, he/she must lead and manage the teams’ objectives/goals in line with the division’s goal and solves issues by supporting and motivating team members. He/she must also lead and engage in continuous improvement initiatives globally and cross-functionally.

Qualifications

  • English proficiency (both Oral & Written), TOEIC score at 700 points (minimum) or above preferable

  • Basic Financial and Strong Supply Chain Planning knowledge

  • 10+ years experience in relevant Supply Chain Management fields such as Production Planning, Procurement, and Inventory Management in globally operating Cosmetics (most preferable) or Consumer companies

  • Understanding of latest trend and best practice in Supply Chain Management

  • Change Management experience with demonstrated leadership

  • Project management experience under multi-national /- cultural environment

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work well both independently as a self starter and a leader, and within a cross-functional group as a team player.

  • Adaptability / flexibility to new environment.

  • Customer oriented and ability to adequately manage trade-offs (e.g. Cost vs. Service level)

  • Leadership to constantly deliver results and problem-solving / Can do attitude

  • In depth knowledge of SAP (ECC and APO) is a plus
