The Online & Omni-Channel Assistant Online Operations Manager will implement initiatives from the identification of a project to the eventual deployment of the solution. At any given time, the Project Specialist will be responsible for coordinating multiple large, cross functional initiatives, each having a diverse team from across the business and at times, from regional teams.
The Online & Omni-Channel Assistant Online Operations Manager will be responsible for executing a broad set of initiatives on an as need basis. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Identifying and communicating best practices
Identifying consumer needs
Working with cross-functional teams to leverage synergies, align on expectations, and distribute learnings
Recommending a broader roll-out approach
Quality Assurance Testing
The Online & Omni-Channel Assistant Online Operations Manager is expected to be comfortable that thorough testing and quality assurance has been completed before handing off a project as completed.
The Online & Omni-Channel Assistant Online Operations Manager will be responsible for monitoring and constructing materials to communicate progress, learnings, roadblocks, and plans to stakeholders.
Independence of Actions
The Online & Omni-Channel Assistant Operations Manager is expected to operate with some level of independence, leveraging the Sr. Online Manager as a sounding board and source of strategic direction.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Marketing Major (with some online media or retail study would be an advantage) or related field
- 3 years’ experience in E-Commerce/Digital Marketing and/ or project management field.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to work with data efficiently and effectively.
Comfort with consumer facing technology and an ability to articulate its impact to brands and relevant stakeholders
Excellent communicator and ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
Strong attention to detail and results orientation; high work ethic and persistence to drive an initiative to completion; a ‘roll up the sleeves’ attitude towards tackling a challenge
Decisive, able to make sounds decisions despite uncertainty and pressure
Smoothly handles multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change
