As a member of the North America Region Corporate Communications team, the Corporate Communications Administrator – North America supports the day-to-day development and execution of regional communications. Reporting to the Executive Director, Corporate Communications - The Americas, this position plays a vital role in the support and smooth implementation of internal/external communications and the deployment of key corporate strategic initiatives. This role provides effective engagement with NA leadership and stakeholders and contributes to a culture where two-way internal communication is seen as fundamental and integral to the success of the organization and its staff.

Corporate Communications:

o Assist in the creation of regional corporate communications materials for various audiences, such as announcements, talking points, presentations, memos, briefings, videos, press/issues statements, Q&As, social/digital content, etc.

o Partner closely with the NA Corporate Communications/Corporate Affairs team on internal/external communications projects, such as townhalls, webcasts, employee engagement and leadership events, internal/external communications platform development, external conferences and speaking engagements, as well as other projects

o Support logistical execution of communications projects by managing and tracking plans, ensuring deadlines are met, coordinating meetings with key business partners, distributing materials and communications, and supporting event management as needed

o Maintain corporate communications cross-channel editorial calendar for regional internal/external communications, including: Regional President communications, organizational announcements, email blasts, enterprise-wide communications, digital platforms, etc. Liaise with appropriate teams to schedule communications, draft content and secure approvals prior to dissemination. Update editorial calendar in real-time and flag conflicts across channels

o Track measurements and metrics that assess the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives

o Maintain corporate email accounts (including mass e-mail dissemination) and monitor inboxes weekly. Manage regional communications distribution lists and ensure they stay current

o Monitor relevant media and issues and develop and disseminate monitoring reports to stakeholders

Leadership Support:

o Provide day to day support to the Executive Director, Global Communications, The Americas, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel planning, expense management, etc.

Team Support:

o Proactively research the latest insights, tools, digital/social media platforms and best practices to advance corporate communications and share these with the team

o Act as team liaison with Finance; manage vendor POs and invoices on project-by-project basis

o Maintain team shared drive folders and provide ongoing administrative team support as needed

o Liaise with external vendors as directed


  • 3 years solid corporate communications experience, gained from an agency or medium/large organization

  • A good knowledge of communications channels including intranet, emails, newsletters, webinars, video, social media and digital platforms is essential

  • Excellent verbal/written communications, with a demonstrated ability to write for various audiences in multiple formats

  • Able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to follow up

  • Poised, professional, proactive and positive attitude, with ability to be flexible and agile to frequently changing demands

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build relationships and rapport

  • Self-starter who is detail- and process-oriented, organized, resourceful and initiative-driven

  • Able to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity, integrity and good judgment

  • Able to gain and apply a solid understanding of the Company's corporate and North America strategy

  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint CMS and Keynote; social media/digital savvy
