Our Travel Retail division for Europe, Middle East, and Africa region has an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager. The position reports to the Regional Director based in the Travel Retail Middle East office with a dotted line to the Regional Brand Directors of Clinique, Origins and ADF based in our London offices.

The area covers all the accounts in the Middle East, Africa, India & India Sub Continent. The role is accountable for any future opportunity for the brands above in the Travel Retail channel (i.e., In-Flight & Aquatic).

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for the total management of the area, including P&L responsibility and the achievement of retail and net sales targets, and net operating profit (NOP) for the region. The role will be responsible for managing the main OPEX lines directly linked to the role as well as their direct reports. This role involves creating and implementing sales strategies for incremental profitable growth and maximising the image of the brands while ensuring the highest standards are achieved.

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for the management and development of a field Account Coordinator also based in the Middle East who in turn manages the retail point-of-sales staff and airport coordinator for each brand. The role requires the establishment of excellent business relationships with our retail partners within the area to ensure we maximise our business opportunities. Also, this role requires the successful candidate to work extremely closely with our Education team to ensure the highest levels of Education for each brand are consistent across the area.

Qualifications

Candidates will have multi-site sales and people management expertise; be commercially driven and be able to demonstrate a successful track record in the achievement of targets and objectives; focused and self-motivated. Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills are essential along with the passion and commitment to regularly travel to cover the area. Candidates will be based in Dubai and have the passion and commitment to travel across the area regularly.
