ideas. The Presidential Management Associate (PMA) Program was designed to

provide exposure to the many disciplines within the organization in a variety

of brands, regions and functions. This program is rooted in the core mission of

The Estée Lauder Companies: “Bringing the best to everyone we touch and being

the best in everything we do.”


Presidential Management Associate Program is an intensive two-year rotation

program designed to attract top global business school graduates to pursue an

accelerated pathway of career development. The program consists of four 6-month

long rotations designed to make the participant well-rounded and knowledgeable

in a particular functional area of the business. This program integrates customized

professional rotations, continuous leadership development and hands-on

practical experience to optimize development at The Estée Lauder Companies. Our

goal is to attract, retain, and develop the best future leaders of the

Consumer Engagement

The Consumer Engagement track provides

PMAs with exposure in the key areas of consumer, product, and digital

marketing. The Consumer Engagement PMA will have the opportunity to interact

with senior executives within our powerhouse of brands and functions. Participants

will also gain exposure to the global strategy of the organization and how it

is implemented throughout the regions and affiliates around the world. They

will be given challenging projects and have the opportunity to collaborate with

cross-functional partners i.e., Product Development, Creative, Finance, Demand

Planning or Global Brand Supply Chain. The Consumer Engagement PMA will gain a

comprehensive understanding of ELC Brand Marketing Calendars and learn to

master the art of conducting business and competitive analysis.

Creative / Design

The Creative / Design track focuses on the growing importance of

the Creative function with regards to Visual Merchandising, Store Design, Package

Design, and Digital Asset Creation. The Creative / Design PMA will be exposed

to different areas of the business such as in-store merchandising, in-store

collateral, special events, windows, merchandising units, design development

and execution throughout different brands and functions at The Estée Lauder

Human Resources

The Human Resources track promotes a

focus on the strategic priorities within the Centers of Excellence in Global

Human Resources. The Human Resources PMA will be assigned challenging

projects and well-rounded experiences that will provide them the opportunity to

be strategic business partners, working with all levels of management. The

Human Resources PMA will work on projects related to ELC’s objective of

attracting, hiring, retaining and developing top talent.

Global Supply Chain

The Global Supply Chain track focuses on

areas including manufacturing, planning, sourcing, and distribution. The Global

Supply Chain PMA will gain exposure to strategic sourcing, tactical

purchasing, logistics/traffic management, supplier quality, global planning,

and production scheduling.

The Online track focuses on the

increasingly important role of e/m-commerce and digital innovation in today’s

retail landscape. The Online PMA will be exposed to various functions within

our Online division with a focus on e-commerce, merchandising analytics, and omnichannel

initiatives while being a part of a fast-growing area of the business.

Online Customer Acquisition and


Travel Retail

The Travel Retail track focuses on our growing duty-free presence

in travel hubs around the world. The Travel Retail PMA will learn how this area

of the business functions in an increasingly global world, and have exposure to

various functions and teams within the Travel Retail channel.

Corporate Sustainability Track


Corporate Sustainability track focuses on the strategic priorities of the Estee

Lauder Companies related to the Company’s expanded sustainability goals. Projects will focus on implementing action

plans around responsible sourcing, emissions, packaging, ingredient

transparency, learning/employee safety, and social investments and employee

Asia Pacific


Asia Pacific (APAC) PMA program focuses on developing capabilities based on the

business needs and priorities within APAC (Singapore, China and Hong Kong). The

APAC PMA may start with a rotation in the in the US to gain the global

strategic insights needed to prepare for rotations in Singapore, China or Hong

Placement at End


successful completion of the program, the PMA will be placed at the Director

level. This placement is based on existing business needs, the PMA’s

evaluations, rate of development, contribution, and previous work experience.



  • MBA degree

  • Minimum 5-8 years of work experience with a demonstrated record of achievement

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate and influence others

  • Strong change management skills and business acumen


We require US work authorization for all PMA candidates, other than those applying for the APAC Track. For candidates applying for the APAC Track, we require work authorization to work in China, Hong Kong, or Singapore.

Those authorized to work in the US may have an opportunity to rotate globally based on language capabilities.
